Last on the house to-do list was replacing the original carpetting on main stairs. I wanted to touch up the paint and save some dough so I agreed to rip up the existing carpet before installers came. 2 hours and a lot of sweat and swearing later, the old carpet was out. The installers complimented me on getting all the staples.... Sigh... Maybe NOT worth $50 in savings. But the finished product is worth it!!
