meet me in St Louie, Louie!

Here's the recap of our whirlwind family vacation to Saint Louis, highly recommend this trip!

We crammed into the car Friday morning at 9am, arriving in St Louis nearing 3pm (do not road trip with small children - potty stops galore!)  We hit the St Louis Science Center first, yay for free!  Here's a shot of Candy next to world's tallest man, DANG!

We grabbed Pi Pizza for supper and then swimming at the hotel concluded Friday evening.  Saturday was the start of a full day.  We started the journey at the metro station, where we posed for lots of pictures while waiting for the train.  I think I win the award for silliest face?

The girls really loved riding the metro, better than Adventureland??

On to the arch, museum and gift shop first followed by the less-scary-than-i-remember-as-a-kid ride to the top!

City museum was next on our list, after a tasty lunch at the spaghetti factory.  Alas, it was CROWDED and girls were TIRED, so we didn't get to explore as much as I think we'd have liked.

Back to hotel to make sure Isaac was still alive, supper, more swimming!  Day 2 was the Magic House, Fitz restaurant (YUMMO!!!) and indoor water park.

Monday morning was time to pack it in, we were all pretty tired.  But, there is a FREE zoo??  Hit that on the way out of town.   Got to see Isaac in his natural form here??  On the road home by 10:30 and needing a vacation to recover?!?  It was a blast and we are already talking about next time we'll head down south for a visit!
