I had "measured" the needed lengths before heading to store and actually "cut it myself" at the Home Depot station located in the trim department. I was a bit disappointed I didn't get some cute store clerk to help... It took about 5 minutes to cut them to size, yay me!
Back home, I found it took me longer to clean out the bottom of the closet before install than the rest of the project combined....
Gathering necessary tools...
The part that I thought would be the hardest (actual installation with nail gun) was probably the easiest step. It actually took me more time to find the nail gun/safety glasses, than it did to actually get the trim up.
And then, organizing time!!! I LOVE IT!!!! And yes, I'm OCD, the shoes are organized by color.... ;o). I think that is sufficient laboring for Labor Day weekend.
And here are the non-hangables, they have so much more room!
Alas, I found these beauties while out this morning... Maybe I should have planned some capacity growth??
